New feature: No more lost receipts
Today we’ve introduced a new feature to our Neat dashboard to make your expense management seamless and paperless. With Neat, stashing away piles of receipts in a shoebox will be a thing of the past!
Here’s how it works.
1). No more lost receipts
You and your employees can now take a picture of a receipt right from the Neat Business App after you make a purchase. Simply go to the “Transactions” screen, press the transaction and you will be able to add your receipt. After you’ve taken the picture, it will also be visible directly from the dashboard.
In addition, you can make a note from the app to remember what the purpose of the transaction was. This will make your accounting easier, as it may be hard to remember in 2 months time whether that “AMAZON” purchase were office supplies, entertainment expenses or inventory.
2). Add receipts, documents and notes from the dashboard
If you make an online purchase with your Neat MasterCard, or forget to take a picture right away from the app, you can also easily add receipts and notes from within the dashboard by uploading it from your computer.
This new feature will not only make your life easier, but it will also help your accountant and auditor do their jobs more efficiently. It’s a small step in our mission to help you focus on growing your business, instead of wasting hours on managing your finances.
